– The nature of these buds is that the microphone is further away from your mouth so they will pick up more background noise than something with a mic boom – Dongle does not work with USB desk phones

In Detail

The Jabra Evolve2 Buds are compact earbuds that come in a charging case with a USB dongle. They can maintain 2 active connections at a time and connect via Bluetooth to a mobile or tablet & via the USB dongle PC/Laptop and Mac. Active Noise Cancelling helps you block out the world around you but at the tap of a button you can enable hear-through and tune in to your environment. The earbuds can be use independantly of each other or together. We recommend using the supplied dongle (rather than Bluetooth to laptop) for the best experience.  Variants of the Evolve2 Buds are USB-A and USB-C (dongle) and MS Teams Certified or UC.   Please check what ports you have available to work out which which variant you need.Free yourself from the headband! Not everyone likes a headband, not everyone likes the strange white sticks that Apple airpods have (they just look so odd!!). The Evolve2 Buds are discrete and lightweight.   Jabra model their earbuds on thair database of 62,000 ear shapes so you should be OK for fit unless you have funny ears (no judgement)   A word from our Sophie –  a long time Jabra earbud style user; As you put them in, you turn them so they push gently against the cartilage of your ear, making them feel really secure. I can’t use aipods, they just wobble about and fall out of my ear . Jabra’s style are the only earbud I’ve tried that stays in.  I love em!!More room in your bag  This seems kinda obvious but the small case will take up way less space in your bag and of course they’re a lot lighter than a headset.  If you’re travelling, do bear in mind that you can’t plug them in for use with in-flight entertainment systems.More battery than you’d expect  With a total of 33 hours for fully charged case and earbuds (the case is the charger) you don’t have to carry cables with you wherever you go. Unlike most earbud options you can use either bud so if you have a HUGE day of calls, leave one charging in the case , use the other for 5 hours then swap and repeat.  If you get caught short,  a 5 minute charge gives you up to an hour of battery (listening in standard mode)Block out the world  These buds have Active Noise Cancelling which, when combined with a good fit, helps the user block out the outside world.  Great when you want to rock out or chill out to your favourite tunes or hear that podcast. No need to remove the earbud for fear of missing your coffee order being called out, just click the multifunction button on one of the earbuds to activate hear through.   NB  Active Noise Cancelling is not the same as blocking out background noise for your caller, read on…Microphone is not ideal for noisy environments   Unless you resemble a Picasso portait, the microphone of E2 Buds are a fair way from your mouth.  Jabra have installed MultiSensor voice technology with a combo of bone condution and a total of 6 microphones but the fact remains; if you’re working in a noisy office / cafe / aiport etc alot of that background noise will get picked up. Its just a nature of this design style –  technology can only do so much!  If you really don’t want your caller to hear what’s happening around you,  you’ll want to switch to something with a microphone boom so it’s closer to your mouth.USB Dongle conveniently stored in the case  We recommend using the USB dongle when using the Evolve2 Buds with a computer rather than the Bluetooth built into your laptop. The dongle gives additional control,  a better Bluetooth connection and better sound quality. These little devices are sooo easy to lose. Happily, Jabra have built a space inside the case for you to keep the dongle safe in transit.USB-A or USB-C to charge The Buds come with a USB-A charging cable but include a USB-A to C charging adaptor so you can use either connection type to charge.  The case can also be charged via a Qi certified wireless charging pad.Customise your ears  You can use the Jabra Direct app and the Sound+ mobile app to customise your listening experience and even customise the left earbud button to a function you know you want to use frequently.  Sound+ will also find your earbuds when you can’t locate them – nifty!
